How BIG business keeps WORRY, DOUBT and FEAR away!

blog, Posts by Lynan

“Little minds have little worries, BIG minds have NO TIME for worries.” ~Unknown

Another day, another quote you might say. But NOPE, not today! This quote is seriously the cat’s pajamas, aka AWESOME!

When you keep your business growth MINIMAL, NOT pursuing new clients and collaborators, and accepting situations AS IS, your BUSINESS DREAMS remain small. Your worries, frustrations, and troubles follow suit by being tiny and uneventful along the way. If nothing is REALLY EXCITING is happening in your business, worries are barely worries at all.

If nothing BIG is being created, NO RISKS are being taken. Therefore, little can be lost. When you play SMALL, you keep fear at bay. But when little FEAR is present, you are feeling FALSE comfort.

I want to let you in on a BIG SECRET….One of my greatest secrets to success.

If you HAVE BIG DREAMS…

THINK HUGE WHEN PLANNING YOUR NEXT STEPS,

EMBRACE THE ‘ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE’ MENTALITY, and

TAKE BIG RISKY ACTION WHEN GROWING YOUR BUSINESS….

You will actually be too busy planning, plotting, building, reinforcing, implementing, and expanding your ideas to WORRY. Too busy to WORRY and get tons of SH*T done.

You know that paralyzing worry that comes from self-doubt and FEAR:

What will the outcome be?

What should I do first?

Do I know enough?

Am I enough?

Normally it makes you get LESS COMPLETED.

BUT when you THINK BIG, IT ALL DISAPPEARS. Vanishes into thin air. Because you are now swimming in a sea of HOPE, POSSIBILITY, and YES!

I am sure you are thinking, Lynan this sounds nuts. I know it sounds a bit out there, but I can personally attest to its SUCCESS. Think about it. You may have heard of the old saying “idle hands weave evil.” Well, this is a perfect case of THAT. When you are playing small and letting YOUR BIG AMAZING BRAIN off the hook, you give it permission to be a little mind, and you get BORED.

  1. Stay BUSY. If you are invited to an event, party, meeting, workshop, GO! If you want to read that new business book everyone is talking about, download it to your Kindle ASAP. If you have an idea for a new business project, jot down notes, do research, reach out to experts, and CREATE YOUR NEW PROJECT. If a task pops into your head, don’t add it to your mile long to-do list. JUST DO IT NOW!
  2. Have BRAINSTORM POWER time every morning. Write whatever new ideas you can come up with to try out for your business. Just 5 minutes of ENDLESS POSSIBILITY. THE crazier, the better.
  3. SKYDRIVE into one of your ideas! Grab one of your morning possibilities and take it for a test drive. You’ll know which one. It will call out to you, maybe when you’ll remember it later in the day. You will mention it to a friend or mentor, AND you will WANT to keep talking about it. Feed this beast, help that IDEA grow. In return, it will help YOU GROW YOUR BIG BUSINESS!
  4. Take RISKS. Even the smallest RISK is bigger than the BIGGEST safety step. If you are scared, you need to do it. Fear is often an indicator that a business step is RIGHT ON TRACK. I love to think of RISKS as spices to LIVEN up a dish. Do you want to continue living the bland and flavorless life? I think NOT.
  5. Exercise YOUR BIG IDEAS regularly. Yes, some of them might be completely off the wall but when you STRETCH your brain in new, different angles, your business will feel the BIG shift. You will be flexible and open when adversity strikes. You will be trained and ready, no matter what happens next. When you practice wrapping your brain around any odd idea that pops up, you start to believe that you can do anything. And you can!
