Are You Ready To Attract More Clients Than You Can Handle?

blog, Business, Marketing

Are you struggling to attract more clients?

If so, you’re not alone. We all want more of our ideal clients—those people who make us crazy excited to wake up in the morning and do what we do best.

But have you ever paused for a moment to stop and think about what your ideal number of clients would be? Do you know the magic number it would take to reach a six, seven or even eight-figure business?

If not, then take a second to really reflect on how many clients you would need to achieve your DREAM business.

Do you have your magic number? Now I want you to think about whether or not you could actually handle the ideal amount of clients necessary for that dream abundant business.

With your limited time and available resources, would you actually be able to manage max capacity?

My guess is, probably not. But that’s okay! My goal is to get you to that point where you attract more clients than your business can handle, and then to hire a team to SUPPORT you in having your highest potential impact to serve.

get more clients

You can only be a successful solopreneur for so long. At a certain point, you need to stop wasting your valuable time trying to do everything yourself and get back to what you do best, the heart and soul of your business.

Build a team to execute your vision with you. Attract more ideal clients then you can handle. Step into long-term sustainable growth. Receive that multi-figure income your dreaming about right now!

If you’re ready to start attracting more clients than you can handle, then you need to start mastering your marketing.

Marketing is everything. It’s what will set you in the direction for the ultimate success of your company.

But marketing isn’t about overnight success—it’s a long-term game that you must constantly play.

To be successful at marketing, you must never stop moving. Never stop creating. Never stop putting earth-shattering content out there to be received.

If you’re new to marketing or afraid of the negative connotations often associated with the word, here’s a quick summary to get you started on a successful marketing strategy.

The Different Types Of Marketing

There are many, many different types of marketing out there. Actually, Chief Martech says there are 131 different kinds of marketing. But you don’t need to try to do everything. Stick to a few of the key types of marketing—and do them well—and you will start to attract great clients.

Here’s a summary of a few of the most important types of marketing every small business and entrepreneur should know about:

Online Marketing: As the name suggests, this is how we market, sell and are perceived in the online marketplace. It’s a broad term that encompasses many of the below types of marketing, but in general when we talk about online marketing we are talking about our websites, our blogs and our offering pages. In our global marketplace, you simply can’t be a thriving business without great online marketing.

PR Marketing: When I talk about PR Marketing, I’m referring to using the Media and Press to get your name and brilliance out in the world. These are FREE (and sometimes even paid) opportunities to share your expertise right now. Social PR is such a powerful way to amplify your brand and instantly establish expertise that I have an entire post about mastering it.

Content Marketing:Useful content should be at the core of your marketing. Create and distribute valuable, relevant content to your target audience. By sharing your wisdom, you’ll build your authority, your tribe, your positioning in Google…and your audience will be more likely to buy from you later on.

Social Media Marketing: Social Media Marketing often falls under Content Marketing, but it is specifically using social media platforms as a way to communicate with your ideal clients. Social Media Marketing is growing exponentially, which is why I dedicated an entire month to the topic.

Relationship Marketing: This is perhaps the most heart-centered. Relationship Marketing is all about getting potential customers to know, trust and like you before you try to sell them anything. When you build a tribe and create deep and meaningful relationships that are built off of support, these potential customers will later be much more likely to buy from you.

Word Of Mouth Marketing: In many ways, Word Of Mouth Marketing is the most potent and powerful of all. This is people talking about your services and speaking highly of their results. It’s why TripAdvisor and Amazon Reviews have changed the way we make purchases, and why word-of-mouth via Social Media becomes more important each day.

The Marketing Pie

Now that you know the different ways you can market to attract more of your ideal clients, it’s time to get started spreading the word about your unique gifts and skills. But before you do, there are a couple of things to remember:

1. Get Clear on Who Your Ideal Client Is And The Value That You Provide

Last week we went into depth about deeply getting to know your target customer. If you missed this post, go back and have a look at it now. Intimately understanding your ideal client is absolutely crucial for marketing to and attracting the right kind of customers.

Then, be sure you know what VALUE your business is providing. Make it crystal-clear so that there is no confusion to your services and offerings.

2. Create A Marketing Pie

This is a special exercise that I do with my Mastermind members, but I’ll give you a bit of a teaser:

Now that you know the many different kinds of marketing you can use to attract more clients than you can handle, I want you to create a marketing pie. It’s basically a pie-chart, the kind you would create in middle school math class. But go ahead and make your circle. Then divide the circle into at least four different sections. In each section, fill in a different type of marketing. These are the first components of your marketing strategy that you will master to start bringing in more clients today.

You might already find yourself gravitating towards a specific type of marketing, but don’t forget to go back to your buyer persona and think about where your ideal client is already hanging out. This is where you want to market, so be sure to include it in the pie.

It’s a simple exercise, but it’s a powerful one. Embrace your marketing pie. Set aside specific time to work on your business in these different pieces, and you will see growth.

Conclusion:

We all want to get more clients. With the right marketing, you can attract more clients than you can handle—and then build the support system to create more impact and finally reach that six or seven figure business you’re dreaming of.

Next week we’ll be diving into quick and easy marketing hacks you can use to start getting more customers right away. This juicy post will be overflowing with goodies to help you take your business to the next level—don’t miss it!

With your limited time and available resources, would you actually be able to manage your max capacity of ideal clients? Which type of marketing do you plan on incorporating in your pie chart?
